When you use the camera or photo library to document vehicle defects, damage, or inspection items, these images are stored as part of the inspection records. Photos are only taken when you actively choose to capture or select them.

The app captures digital signatures for safety inspections and defect rectification records as required by DVSA compliance regulations.

Photo Library: Used to attach existing photos of vehicle defects, damage reports, and brake test certificates to inspection records.
Location: Used to record where vehicle defects and safety checks are performed for fleet tracking and compliance purposes.

All device permissions are optional and requested only when you use features that require them. You can revoke permissions at any time through your device settings.

6. Data Retention

Fleet records are retained for as long as required by transport regulatory requirements and your organisation's data retention policy. You may request deletion of your personal data by contacting your fleet manager.
